This meeting comes more than half a year after Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman presented the Oscar for Best Actor at the 94th Academy Awards along with John Travolta, who played Vincent Vega in pulp fiction. While it’s nice to see Jackson and Thurman paired up again, it’s worth noting that the two never shared any actual screen time together in Quentin Tarantino’s sophomore movie. They were strictly linked through Vincent Vega, who was tasked by his and Jules’ boss, Marsellus Wallace of Ving Rhames, to look after his wife while he was away.
