Which has special merit given that Sony and Marvel have remade the hero’s story numerous times for the big screen. To date, nothing less than 12 Spider-Man Movies, of which three are part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (in which they are The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy) and have been produced by Marvel Studios. Ten years after launch spider man, and after a fourth installment was cancelled, Sony Pictures relaunched the hero’s story from scratch putting Marc Webb in the direction. Offering a Spidey more committed to his past, but with the same problems as a teenager.
The two films of The Amazing Spider-Man are the darkest in terms of content, but also the bravest in terms of renewing the character. However, as a side effect we were left with an unfinished trilogy.

Sony released new spider-man just two years after it premiered The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Power of Electro, but this time Marvel Studios itself was involved in the process, and it was noticeable at all levels. Although, the spider-man of Marvel Studios belongs to both Sony Pictures and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sony itself took care of its own expand the Spider-Verse taking advantage of the possession of the rights of the character and giving presence and prominence to its great villains.
The connection of these announced and yet-to-be-announced films to the Spider-Man multiverse is intentionally ambiguous, though they have briefly collided in several scenes. However, our review would be incomplete without them.
