If Kang is such a powerful being, why does he need Ant-man’s help? Peyton Reed revealed that Kang needs Ant-Man’s help to escape the Quantum Realm, where he is stranded at the start of Phase 5. “We wanted to explore the quantum realm,” the director said in the most recent edition of Empire Magazine (via Comic book). In accordance with Reedthis third installment of the Ant-Man saga will take place largely within the subatomic dimension.

About Kang the Conqueror, Reed ensures that it is “a very different character” from its variant in Loki. “He is someone who has control over time, and he is a warrior and a strategist,” said the filmmaker (via Comic book). “That’s interesting to me: taking the tiniest, and in some people’s minds, the weakest Avenger, and putting it up against this absolute force of nature,” he added.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania It will arrive as the 31st film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In this feature film, we will see the presentation of the fearsome Kang, a character that many fans are already eager to see on the big screen. Kevin Feigepresident of Marvel Studios, had this to say about the character in a previous interview with Comic book:

It all comes down to the cast and with Jonathan Majors, who I think took over the Hall H stage, you know, in the three minutes he was there. He’s amazing, and I told him there’s no other shoulders he’d rather put The Multiverse Saga on than his own. It’s really impressive what Jonathan Majors is capable of and all the different incarnations, variants, if you will, of Kang that we’ll see him do. He is really cool. What I love is that he is totally different from Thanos. That he is completely different. That it’s not just that there’s a bigger purple guy with a helmet. That’s not what Kang is. Kang is a very different type of villain and the fact that he is many, many different characters is what is most exciting and what sets him apart the most.
