The big winter update of Halo Infinite is here and it comes loaded with news that you cannot miss
Many players and fans of the Halo saga eagerly awaited the arrival of this great update classified as the winter update.
And in reality it is not for less, since it brings many new features and functions that many players were looking forward to, such as the possibility of play the campaign in cooperative mode, Mission Replay or the Forge mode betaplus new content that will be available for free.
The cooperative campaign in Halo Infinite is already a reality
At least it was curious that Halo Infinite went on sale without the option of enjoying the campaign in cooperative mode, a mode that in previous installments has been very successful. 343 Industries has justified this delay because they wanted to offer the best possible experience to the player, something they have not achieved so far.
In addition, it has been announced that Halo Infinite in its cooperative campaign mode can be played crosswise, that is, both with Xbox Series X | S players and on PC. On the other hand, progress and unlocks will be computed for all players who participate in the cooperative.
24 new achievements in Halo Infinite
Lovers of adding achievements are in luck, because the Halo Infinite winter update includes a total of 24 new achievements, a perfect excuse to relive history, don’t you think?

Another of the modes that has been hard to come by is the long-awaited Forge, which is now available in Halo Infinite and will allow us to design our own maps.
Forge mode beta launches with a total of six canvas maps, a new visual scripting engine, object scaling, lighting and audio tools, bot support, large budget increases, file sharing capabilities, and much more to help you create and share your maps, modes, and prefabs.
New battle pass and events
The Winter Update brings with it a new Battle Pass that is completely free for all players and will never expire. With 30 tiers of rewards, the Winter Update Battle Pass sees the return of many Halo: Reach-themed cosmetics.
Over the next few months, you can also look forward to two free events that will bring an additional 10 reward levels each (that’s 20 additional free reward levels in total).
In December, the Winter Contingency will once again declare itself and offer a series of holiday-themed cosmetics.
In January, the Joint Fire event will focus on the JFO-class Mjolnir armor and other related cosmetics.
New maps and modes
Halo Infinite’s winter update brings two new multiplayer maps, called Argyle and Detachment, thus increasing the number of maps available.
Great emphasis has also been placed on improving the experience and progression of the XP, an aspect that will be polished and worked on in the coming months.
As you have been able to verify, the Halo Infinite winter update comes very, very complete and loaded with new features.
