Find out what was the horrible insult that is about to unleash great chaos between Daredevil and The Punisher.
Daredevil and The Punisher feature a history of not getting along too well. In most (if not all) comics where they appear together they always end up facing each other either physically or verbally, due to their different criteria and way of thinking.
In general, both have that desire to do justice, however, the two use different methods, which are not always approved by the other. Their personalities, ways of thinking, and ways of wanting to do justice collide with each other, generating conflicts between the two.
In a new comic, Marvel starts a conflict due to a terrible insult from Daredevil towards The Punisher. Below we will tell you all the details about it, but it is important that you keep in mind that this post contains spoilers for volume #7 of the comic punisher from Marvel.
The conflict between Daredevil and The Punisher
As mentioned above, these two they have had clashes in the past for different reasons. In comics like Punisher: Homeless, The Bully Y Daredevil vs. Punisher: Means & Ends They have had both physical and verbal altercations.
As expected, now that they have come together again in the new comic that Marvel will launch, there will be more altercations, fights and clashes between the two vigilantes.
In a new preview of volume #7 of the comic punisher, Matt Murdock (Daredevil) and Frank Castle (The Punisher) meet in the citadel of the Hand (a criminal organization made up of ninjas) where have a discussion.
Apparently, The Punisher asked the Hand to resurrect his deceased wife, but in return, he had to take on the role of Fist of the Beast. Daredevil tells The Punisher that by taking on said role “It goes beyond limits, Frank. Even for you”.
Daredevil mentions to the Punisher that he must think he has everything under control and that he thinks he’s using the Hand for his own benefit, but that it is the Hand who is going to take advantage of himand to use it “for ruin and slaughter”.
The Punisher tells Daredevil to go away, to which Daredevil responds with the question of “What does Maria have to say about this?” referring to the fact that the Punisher be dealing with criminals and that he has agreed to be the Fist of the Beast to resurrect it.
Daredevil even questions Frank if his wife even you are well enough to understand what is happening.
Matt continues to express his disapproval and disappointment to Frank.reaching the point where his anger is already taking control of himself, and that’s when he makes the comment “’till death do us part’ but did you give him a choice?”referring to their wedding vows.
Daredevil hits the Punisher where it hurts.
After a rather angry argument, Daredevil ends up giving the Punisher a cheap shot, mess with what hurts him the most and matters the most: his wife.
Suggesting to the Punisher that he’s desecrating his wife’s memory by resurrecting her, just ignites the anger of the antiherosince his wife is a great source of pain and sadness for him.
This offensive comment from Matt Murdock towards Frank Castle is about to unleash a supernatural war between both vigilantes within the Marvel Universe.
While insulting his wife in such a way is not the most appropriate or polite thing to do, Daredevil’s real intention was to make the Punisher see that the fact that he is now working for the Hand, will not give a good end to the antihero.
Regardless of whether you just want your wife and family back, that criminal organization will not bring you anything goodand Daredevil just wanted to protect the Punisher and show him his concern.
