Synopsis for Dark Crisis: Worlds Without a League – Superman #1

“When Pariah and his forces of the Great Dark laid waste to the most powerful superheroes of all time, all hope was lost…with the Man of Steel suffering the same fate as his comrades, join us for a look at a world of dreams that he never would have thought possible when he was alive. Where there is life, there is hope, and with that hope comes a deeper unraveling of the tapestry of the DC Universe’s biggest event of 2022.”

Burnham presented the cover of Dark Crisis: Worlds Without a League – Superman #1where you can see Clark Kent standing next to her son, who is dressed in a suit Robin-inspired Superboy, while the bullets ricochet off the two. Burnham had this to say:

“I’ve been a fan of Tom since his Grayson days, so while he’s probably best known for his 12-issue ‘War Is Hell’ epics, I still think of him primarily as a fun formalist who writes in one.”

“I have two little kids who haven’t yet realized what a knucklehead their father is, so it’s fantastic to draw a story about Superman trying to live up to his own father’s high standards. I loved drawing Batman and Robin’s adventures at Batman Incorporated, and it’s been so much fun drawing Superman with a Robin-esque Superboy.”

“Superman is perhaps my favorite character to write for, and Chris is one of my favorite artists in comics who I’ve been dying to work with for years, so this project is an absolute joy,” King added. It’s an important and emotional story about what Clark missed out on when he missed out on Jon’s adolescence, the pain and the glory of watching your son grow up.”

The one-shot will also contain a second story of Brandon ThomasAquaman, Chuck Brown (Black Manta) Y Fico Ossio (Mister Miracle: The Source of Freedom) which honors the legacy of Aquaman. In January, DC announced that Justice League #75 will see the team battle against a power known as the Dark Army and only one member will live to tell the people of Earth.. After “The Death of the Justice League” the event arrives Dark Crisis which will lead to a new chapter in DC Comics.
