The second season of The White Lotus is about to reach its end and there are many questions that have not yet been answered. Created by White White, the series praised for its satire and mysterious plot has become one of the most important productions of HBO, even won several Emmy awards in this year’s edition. What does the public expect from the last chapter of this new installment?
At the beginning of the series, we see that Daphne (meghann fahy) is alone on the beach and decides to go swimming to take advantage of the sunny day. However, she is horrified when she sees some dead bodies in the water. Who is she about? It is the biggest question that she has this season and, for now, there is no clear indication that gives clues about the characters that are going to die.
Tanya McQuoid (Jennifer Coolidge) made a discovery in the penultimate chapter that left a cliffhanger shocking: an old photograph of her husband, Greg (Jon Gries), along with Quentin (Tom Hollander). The first thing one might suspect is that they both met in the past… and they could have had a love affair. Greg still hasn’t turned up back in Sicily and his return could be key to unmasking Quentin’s real intentions.
Between Albie (Adam DiMarco), the son of Dom (michael imperioli), and the Italian Lucia (Simona Tabasco) was born an intimate bond that could end with one of the two getting hurt. It could be that she just seeks to con him to get what she wants or she really is in love with her, that will be known in the end of The White Lotus 2.
On the other hand, Portia (Haley Lu Richardson) met Jack (Leo Woodall), Quentin’s supposed British nephew who comes from Essex. However, Tanya saw that both he and his uncle were involved in a way that two relatives would not be related to each other, and she has begun to doubt if they are really related by blood or if it is all a lie. Will Portia also find out about this strange relationship?
We know that Daphne makes it to the end alive, but neither her husband nor the other couple appear at the start of the second season. It is possible that something happens between Harper (aubrey square), Cameron (Theo James) and Ethan (Will Sharpe); although it is not ruled out that certain truths come to light, such as Cameron’s infidelity with Lucia during the crazy night that his wives were away.
Against all odds, The White Lotus first introduced a romance between two women. It’s about ValentinaSabrina Impacciatore), the manager of the resort in Sicily, and Mia (Beatrice Grannò), Lucia’s best friend. The latter agreed to have a passionate night with the other woman when she got her position as pianist at the hotel bar, will they use each other or will they truly develop feelings?
